They were just a pair of four-year-olds when Craig David released his 2000 smash debut single "Fill Me In" but that hasn't prevented Interscope's newest signee Pia Mia and teen pop heartthrob Austin Mahone from being huge fans of the song. In fact, the 1996-born singers have teamed up - did you know they were close? Me neither! - to record their own spin of Craig's "Fill Me In". Listen to their duet on SoundCloud below!
So many good memories come to mind. Ahhh, the days of early 2000s music! That time will never be repeated. Back to Pia and Austin's first duet ever, although it was a very bold move to cover "Fill Me In", I ain't hating it. But I have to say Pia Mia is the one who steals the show. Austin's vocals sound too juvenile and immature. Totally the opposite to Pia's, who sounds super confident and displays an impressive instrument control even though she's just 18 years old. Interscope played their cards right signing her.
