Producer, fashion designer and singer of ‘Happy’, what else did Pharrell really need to add to his already impressive résumé to make it even more impressive? Well… curator at his own art exhibition that is! After performing live before a crowd of thousands at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend music festival in Scotland over the weekend, the former N.E.R.D front-man arrived in Paris on Monday (May 26th) to be at the launch of his very own art exhibition, which he has aptly titled… ‘GIRL’, just like the title of his this-year-released second solo album. Clever marketing, anyone?

Pharrell’s exhibition is to be held at Galerie Perrotin’s new art space, the ‘Salle de Bal’ in Paris from May 27th to June 25th, 2014. So you now know what to add to your must-see list should you travel to the French capital in the coming weeks!

'GIRL', Pharrell's new art activity... not his album, is 'a show encompassing around 40 art pieces, including 10 specially commissioned works for the occasion, from a group of 34 creatives presenting their visions of femininity, paying the homage to muses and female creativity and freedom’. This according to a press release.
