OneRepublic - "Wherever I Go" [Music Video Premiere!]

OneRepublic took to VEVO today (May 18) to world premiere the official music video for their amazing and unique-sounding new single "Wherever I Go" - taken from their upcoming yet-untitled fourth studio album, due in stores later in 2016 via Interscope.

Directed by Joseph Kahn, the expensive visual (nothing with Joseph is cheap) follows another regular day in the life of a miserable office worker in South Korea. Or at least he thought it was going to be regular. For after seeing Ryan Tedder on Budweiser ad on the subway, the Korean man will see his depressed mind changed. When he gets to the office, he will start to behave in a very bizarre way - trying to have fun for the first time in many years apparently. He will shamelessly "smell" and stare at his female co-worker in the elevator, and he will dance like there's no tomorrow in the desks area. And yep, the unthinkable will occur when his fellow office employees will follow him on this madness ride. Amid the group heavy dancing, our main man, sitting on an office chair, will be pushed into a room - where things will start to become very trippy. For inside that room will be rock band OneRepublic performing the theme song of the video "Wherever I Go"!!!

Upon returning to the office area, the "trippiness" will continue. After standing up, the Korean guy and everybody in the office will magically change clothes, to something more colorful, the walls in the office will be more colorful too, and everybody's spirits will feel even more uplifted. And yep, the heavy dancing will continue...until we finally realize a certain somebody was just DAY-DREAMING (for real...?) while staring at his female co-worker in the elevator. Oh no... lol!

What a fun and original video. You go, OneRepublic!

What do you think of the video?
