One Direction Perform 'WMYB' On "Red or Black?"
The boys from One Direction delivered the first televised performance of their debut single, the cheerful pop/rock number "What Makes You Beautiful" on Saturday's episode of "Red or Black?" - The ITV 1 gameshow has quickly become into one of the the hottest launchpads for musical acts nowadays in the UK. Anyways, all in all, I enjoyed OD's performance. The concept was really cool!
The negative side was that not even half the performance was live (this wasn't the guys' fault though, the performance's concept forced this), and that the live parts weren't that great. The burden falls in this occasion on member Harry Styles' shoulders. He was extremely nervous! And the poor guy was out of breath during his turn in the bridge. Anyhow, this is the just the first TV performance of the many more that will come, so the guys will have time to redeem themselves. That said, they're still going to get the #1 with "What Makes You Beautiful". Kudoz to that. Let's see if they break some records.
