Olly Murs - Please Don't Let Me Go (New Song!)
2009 X Factor runner-up Olly Murs has released his debut solo single entitled "Please Don't Let Me Go". The singer from Essex (England) was signed to a joint deal between Epic Records and Syco Music (Simon Cowell's label) back in February 2010. Murs has been recording in the studio since then his debut album, which is now expected to hit stores in the UK in September. Many have been wondering what would be Olly's sound?. Perhaps, pop/rock? electro-pop? dance music? Well, NO. It seems Olly is going for an indie pop / pop soul style. This can be heard in "Please Don't Let Me Go". It's a mix of Will Young with lots of Jason Mraz influence. My veredict? I like it. But I have the feeling I'm going to get bored of it in a few days. Maybe a cool music video could help!
