Nothing Feels "Better" Than Khalid's New Song: We Have A Banger!
I didn’t know what the buzz was about this song but now I know. This is a banger!
Call me lazy but I didn’t give Khalid’s new song “Better” a listen the day it came out – this past Friday. I had things to do and I eventually forgot about the song. But after several DMs to me on Twitter and visitors requesting via email I review it, I finally gave “Better” a full stream today. And boy, I feel so horrible. How I could live for two whole days without this song in my life? “Better” has immediately become one of my favorite Khalid songs ever, I feel like this could be a massive Top 40 hit for him if promoted correctly (although his label might want to keep pushing “Love Lies” for a little while in view it just hit #1 on pop radio), its proof Khalid is a versatile singer who could float between genres without any hassle, and it’s also evidence that Khalid knows how to carry and execute a love song to perfection. “Nothing feels better, no no / We don't gotta hide it / Nothing feels better than this”, he sings happily in the chorus. He’s found love and he wants the whole world to know.
