OMG. Imagine me this morning (September 12th) eating a bowl of cereals, and finding out about this new Nicole Scherzinger song called “Run”. I click play, and as the song progresses, my mouth freezes wide open and my silver spoon drops to the wooden floor. "Run" is a song from Nicole’s forthcoming second studio album which she world premiere at a French radio station earlier today (so random, I know). Why would she select France to premiere this stunning ballad? This is a mystery, but thankfully one Nicole French fan caught the radio premiere and ripped the song for us (listen below).

My GOD! How did Nicole dare to release that atrocity called ”On the Rocks” as her new single instead of this!? “Run” is a powerful and emotional ballad. So full of emotion, and especially pain. During 3 minutes and 15 seconds, Nicole Scherzinger will share with us a story from her past; one that speaks about a man making the life of a girl a living hell.

Here's some advise for the next one / run, run, run”, warns Nicole to all women living in a relationship where their men are playing with their feelings. “Don't even search for that four-letter world / you’ll never get it out / you’ll try, and try, and try / But he'll just shut you down”, continues Nicole in the bridge. Why are we finding out only now that she suffered this kind of situation? Poor her! But at least she’s using her experience and this song to help other women. RUN while you can. Don't let a man treat you with indifference. Stand up for yourself. (This song has nothing to do with Nicole's current boyfriend Lewis Hamilton. I just added the photo of Nicole with him above because she looks hot in it.)

Run” has to be Nicole’s best solo song yet. True she’s had a few Top 5 hits in UK as a solo artist in the past, and “Run” hasn’t achieved anything yet, but although those songs had great success on the radio and the charts, I can totally say without any fear that “Run” goes beyond that standard and is Nicole’s best solo song to date as a recording. The vocals, the lyrics, the palpable pain and the soaring moment towards end, these all makes "Run" a brilliant song. Certainly, one worthy of critical acclaim. I tell you, just picture Nicole singing and nailing "Run" at the Grammys. She'd eat the world up!
