Nicki’s new single ‘Pills N Potions’ - co-produced by Dr. Luke and Cirkut - is a sincere mid-tempo song where Nicki addresses her success, haters and falseness in the music industry. The song sounded like a 'smash hit' to many, but the reality is that 'Pills N Potions' is finding it real hard to hold its position at the top spots on iTunes. As of this post, Nicki's new single sits at #26 behind, for instance, Rixton's 'Me and My Broken Heart', whose fan-base is certainly smaller than Nicki's. It should 'bloom' with time though...
At Hot 97’s Summer Jam 2014, she performed for the first time and killed ‘Pills N Potions’ (24:45). And once her set was over, she brought on stage Lil' Wayne and Drake who began to perform a few of their own tracks, including their recent collaboration 'Believe Me', as Nicki played the role of the hype girl. At one point, she jumped to Drake's arms!
