It may not have the #1 spot on the Billboard Top 200 yet, as it was only released yesterday (June 10), but Nick Jonas’ new solo album “Last Year Was Complicated” is already atop a different yet similarly important chart; the iTunes one. Following its Thursday midnight release, Nick’s new LP quickly grabbed the top position on the iTunes Albums Chart in the US. See below proof (will it stay there its whole debut week? To promote the release of “Last Year Was Complicated”, Nick Jonas stopped by NBC’s “The Today Show” on Friday morning to perform a mini-concert at the show’s outdoors stage located at Rockefeller Plaza in New York City. There, the former Jonas Brothers star delivered a three-song set. Which songs did he sing before his hundreds of fans gathered before the stage? “Close” and “Champagne Problems” from “Last Year Was Complicated” and “Jealous” from his 2014 solo debut. And WOW! his vocals were on fire! I always admire singers who can give their 100% so early in the morning.
