The Nick Jonas co-written R&B mid-tempo “Jealous” is the lead single from his forthcoming debut solo album, out this Fall via Island Records.
Ah! Just when I was finally getting to like Nick’s new song, I get slapped on the face by this poor and very messy music video which exclusive premiered on Tuesday midnight (September 16) on MTV.com and was hours later uploaded on VEVO.
The extremely disappointing music video shows the most-talented Jonas brother walking a road with a nice pair of jeans, practicing his boxing skills with a punching bag, climbing a rock mountain, playing the piano with an elderly woman, among other irrelevant things - oh and don't miss the cheap visual effects. The only scene that makes sense with the “Jealous” lyrics is the one where Nick plays a taxi driver and has her current girlfriend Olivia Culpo getting too cozy with a random dude in the back seat. Nick's pissed and his eyes can't hide the jealousy he's feeling. There you go!
