Nick Jonas Covers Years and Years' "King" on BBC Live Lounge! (Must-Listen)
Nick Jonas made his first appearance as a solo artist on the legendary “Live Lounge” sessions of BBC Radio 1 on Friday, April 10 live from London. Nick had already been to the show a few years ago but when he was still part of the Jonas Brothers.
During his segment, the muscular American singer-songwriter performed an acoustic rendition of his pop smash hit “Jealous” (that UK’ers are receiving so well) as well as a cover of Years and Years’ “King”. All guest artists must choose a contemporary song from another artist to cover on the British radio show “Live Lounge” and Nick surprised a few by picking the hit song from the British electronica trio. Who knew he had such great taste!?
Nick, as expected, slayed “Jealous” in that stripped-down version (he’s already mastered this song) and I was pleasantly surprised by what he did with “King”. Also acoustic, a little piano, and excellent, strong vocals. He's so grown up!
