Niall Horan Performs 3 Solo Songs, Plays "Best Song Ever" On "The Today Show"
Although Niall Horan was on “The Today Show” last year, it’s been quite a few (ever since the One Direction days) since he had performed an outdoors concert for the NBC morning show at NYC’s Rockefeller Plaza. Last year when he was promoting “This Town”, he could only do an in-studio performance. However, this Monday morning (May 29) when he visited “Today”, Niall performed a three-song concert (not just one anymore) before a MASSIVE CROWD at the plaza. Clearly, an outdoors gig was mandatory this time around for Niall’s solo career has skyrocketed ever since he stepped out into the spotlight last year.
At “Today” today, Niall Horan performed his current smash hit “Slow Hands” (as of this post at #12 on iTunes/don’t see this song leaving the Top 100 in a LONG time), the new song debut in San Diego a few weeks ago, “On The Loose”, and his debut solo single “This Town” of course. Although it was raining in New York City, that didn’t prevent Niall’s fans from having the time of their lives this morning.
He sounded super good, and looked very confident on that stage. His artist growth keeps on getting better with every passing day!
Debut solo album coming later in 2017 via Capitol.
*UPDATE: Although he didn’t sing it, Niall did treat the requesting fans with a One Direction song in his own way. He played the chords of “Best Song Ever” on his guitar and let the crowd sing along.
