Niall Horan Is A Pretty Boy For ‘Notion’ Magazine, Says He Has No Time For Tinder.
Niall Horan is winning the One Direction battle, at least the “singles” battle on the charts right now.
His latest single “Slow Hands” sits, as of this post, at #5 on iTunes USA while those of his One Direction competitors, Harry Styles’ “Sign of the Times”, and Liam Payne’s “Strip That Down”, sit at #15 and #38, respectively.
Harry’s “Sign of the Times” may be at #13 (unmoved from last week) on the pop radio chart and Niall’s “Slow Hands” at #19 (one spot up from last week) but that’s radio, which equals to no real “money” for the artist. So it’s really the iTunes chart that honestly indicates the support One Direction fans are giving each single; for one thing is requesting a single on the radio, free of charge, and another very differently spending your own money purchasing a digital copy on iTunes. And that’s the battle Niall Horan is winning right now. “Slow Hands” is at #5, as of this post, on Apple’s iTunes chart, but it’s been steady within the Top 10 for a long time now. Much longer than Harry’s “Sign of the Times”. Does this indicate which of the three One Direction solo singles fans have loved the most? I think so. Go Niall. The alleged “underdog” getting that victory and last laugh.
And Niall’s undisputed solo success is also showing in the number of media outlets that are requesting one-on-one time with him. For instance, in the latest weeks Niall’s graced the covers of Billboard magazine and TMRW magazine, and today, we must add another cover to the list. Starting today, you will see Niall on the cover of the new issue of Notion magazine at all newsstands.

It’s evident that Niall is no model, for any professional model would strike better and more flattering poses, and serve softer, “smizing” facial expression, but Niall did his best and in the end won. The point was to show off his God-given good looks and those indeed shined through.

It looks by the strong performance of “Slow Hands” that it may still be Niall’s single for the summer, but here’s hoping he releases something new in these summer months. Something even sultrier and perhaps a little more uptempo.
I’m so excited about Niall’s career, whereas I'm not too excited about what Liam could bring in the future and about what Harry has already delivered (his album got old real fast for me).
