New Song: Tamar Braxton - "Catfish" [HQ Version]
Yesterday (Sept. 10) a new Tamar Braxton song titled “Catfish” premiered on US radio. However, the only copy that we had was a radio rip recorded by a fan in low quality. Fortunately for us, today (Sept. 11), along with the pre-order launch of her new album “Calling All Lovers” (out October 2nd) on iTunes, the R&B songstress released “Catfish” in its glorious HQ version. New “countdown single” alert!
“Catfish” is rumored to be the second single from “Calling All Lovers” - after “If I Don't Have You” - but the word “single” is yet to come out of Tamar’s mouth so let’s approach with caution…but anyway, if “Catfish” is indeed her next single, I give my complete support and approval. No joke, this ex boyfriend-slamming mid-tempo song is pure FIRE! It’s giving me 90’s R&B vibes, Tamar’s vocals are so sexy, the “don’t flex” bits slay my existence (already picture myself killing the dancefloor shouting “don’t flex!”) and and overall, I totally see urban radio eating “Catfish” up.
Tamar is not playing with this new album!
