OK, this sounds and feels more like the Jessie J I learned to love! Listen now above to the fourth new song by the British singer that's premiered in less than two weeks, "Excuse My Rude". The urban-ish pop song, featuring Dr Luke's protegée rapper Becky G, will appear on Jessie J's upcoming second album, due in stores this September.
This is...slick! Best song so far this era. The instrumental is both fierce and smooth, and Jessie's vocals are not over the top. By the way, this new song is giving me a bit of "Do It Like A Dude" teas too...and it's probably the lyrics. Jessie J sings to her soon-to-be-ex-boyfriend about how she's done keeping it cool with him. Now, she's gonna serve him with the truth! lol. As for Becky G, she can me removed from "Excuse My Rude". Her verse is pointless. Why is Dr Luke wasting his time so much (and probably annoying the artists he works with too) trying to make this girl happen?. Anyway, I am loving "Excuse My Rude". I say Jessie J ditches "It's My Party" and releases this instead!
