New Song: Drake ft. Wiz Khalifa - Started From The Bottom (Remix)

After Drake's single 'Started From The Bottom' hit the airwaves last Friday night, we knew it was only matter of time till the remixes would start coming in. Wiz is first up to the plate with a quick 16 bars towards the end of the song. As expected from Wiz, the weed references are there with lyrics like "You know that it's fire/You smell it as soon as I blaze/Burning A Pound". Wiz also threw in a Waka Flocka reference, someone who he had beef with before, and implied that they are back to being friends again. "I just seen Waka the other day/He wasn't tripping, we just talk about the money we been making." The Taylor Gang leader had this to say about the remix on twitter: "I know that song juss came out lol but i think it speaks to all of us so i put my verse on it before everyone else does,".

'Started From The Bottom' will serve as the first single for Drake's forthcoming third studio album. Originally set to premiere February 10th on the Grammys, Drake decided to forgo the wait and released it 7 days early via his Blog. No worries Drake fans, Drake's name will still be buzzing at Sunday's Grammys as he is nominated for 'Best Rap Performance', 'Best Rap Album', and 'Best Rap Song'. Tune in to CBS Sunday at 8PM est. to watch.

The beat is produced by Mike Zombie, who just recently signed to Drake's OVO label. This version with Wiz Khalifa just complements to what is already going to be a successful track for the YMCMB signee. The original track without Wiz Khalifa, can be found on Itunes. Look out for a music video for the original track to be dropping in the future. Listen below.
