New Song: Cody Simpson - 'Pretty Brown Eyes'
Australian pop singer Cody Simpson world premiered his brand new single entitled "Pretty Brown Eyes" early on Friday (April 19) on Radio Disney. The upbeat, romantic pop record is the the lead single from the 16-year-old's upcoming sophomore album. "Pretty Brown Eyes" gets officially released on iTunes on April 23.
Cody is gonna be busy this summer performing several concerts as part of his headlining tour in North America (June, July), so there he has his best outlet to promote "Pretty Brown Eyes". The new song sounds pretty summery, and radio-friendly, but keeping it honest, I find it very weak, and dull. Is this really the best he can do for a first single?. Shocking. I thought he had more talent, or a better 'team' behind. In any case, April 23 will be a very important day to see if Cody's fans are there for him. The Aussie star will perform "Pretty Brown Eyes" for the 1st time at the Radio Disney Music Awards on April 27.
