New Music: Wale (feat. Jeremih) - 'The Body'
Wale gave us a preview of a new track called 'Body Like A Benz' earlier in the Summer and today the full version of the Jeremih-assisted tune has finally been released. No word on what project the smooth track will land on but the MMG affiliate has been working on his next studio LP, 'Album About Nothing', and it may possibly be the lead single.
"You remind me of my jeep, I wanna ride it / You something like my car, I got the keys to them, I need the keys to you" raps Wale behind vocal backing from Jeremih. 'Body Like A Benz' is a good summertime single but the release comes two weeks before the start of the Fall. Regardless, this track will get plenty of spins and has potential to be big for Wale.
'Album About Nothing' is expected to arrive in stores later this year. Yesterday on Twitter, Wale mentioned he's initiating the album process starting Monday. He also plans to release a new song titled 'The Pessimist' this upcoming week which is relevant to the on going issues in Ferguson, Missouri.
