The Game premiered his new single “100”, featuring Drake, via SoundCloud today, June 25th. The anti-fake sh*t anthem will be included on the West Coast rapper’s forthcoming album “The Documentary 2”.
Does the Cardo and Johnny Juliano-produced song sound familiar to you? Are you saying to yourself, “hey, I have heard that Drake verse before” right now? There is a sounding explanation for all of this. Remember that alleged new freestyle the OVO leader rapped at his Detroit concert last May? Well, turns out it was no freestyle but the verse he had recorded for The Game’s “100” single. It’s all the same.
Although I don’t expect this to be the life of the party at any club (at least not without a proper remix), “100” is a solid hip-hop song that makes you reflect.
I agree with Game and Drake, I ain’t like no ‘fake sh*’t either.
