New Music: Sia - 'Big Girls Cry' [World Premiere]
Sia has triggered a battle with Fergie. On
purpose? Listen now to the Australian singer-songwriter’s brand new song ‘Big Girls Cry’, off of her upcoming sixth studio album '1000 Forms of Fear',
hitting stores on July 8 via RCA. Why the alleged Sia vs. Fergie beef? Well,
because Fergie Ferg has a song called ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry’, and Sia’s seem
like a direct reply to the Black Eyed Peas’ first lady.
Whether she had Fergie’s song in mind when
writing this or not, ‘Big Girls Cry’ is a phenomenal record. You JUST KNOW Sia’s
new album is a must-buy. All three songs she's unveiled so far are top quality.
In ‘Big Girls Cry’, Sia reminds girls also have a vulnerable side. When a female
is heart-broken there is nothing preventing her from shedding a few tears. She
may go out with her girlfriends one night to dance her sorrow away, but at
least for some time a heart-broken girl will cry a river. Sia's big vocals and unique inflections make a great fit with the drum-heavy production.
