New Music: Rihanna - "Better Have My Money" [Full Audio / Review]
Rihanna world premiered at noon (EST) today (March 26th) her brand new single “Better Have My Money” on iHeartRadio and on all major Top 40 radio stations across the US simultaneously. Co-written by Bibi Bourelly, and produced by Roc Nation’s very own DEPUTY, Rihanna’s new single samples rapper AMG’s 1992 hit of the same.
“Better Have My Money” serves as the official second single from Rihanna’s upcoming eighth studio album whose title is yet to be confirmed but that many refer as “#R8”. The Kanye West-executive produced LP is said to be 100% complete with people just waiting for Roc Nation and Rihanna to drop it, with or without previous notice.
The song sees “urban” Rihanna make a comeback! Happy, right?

It would be easy to criticize Rihanna's new single calling it lazy or "she could do better", but let's all be honest, she's not a singer who's out there to wow us with her amazing vocal range, Rihanna's an artist who has the God-given gift to effortlessly produce catchy songs, and from to time some urban 'guilty pleasures' in the form of ratchet songs; "Birthday Cake", "Pour It Up", etc. And "Better Have My Money" falls into that ratchet category. It's a bona-fide BOP no matter what haters are saying, clubs are going to have to reinforce their dancefloors when DJs start playing this, there are tons of exciting remix possibilities for this song, and I just love the fact Rihanna's giving us something we're more accustomed from her and not just another folk song a la "Four Five Seconds" as second single
