Olly Murs' new single "Wrapped Up" just premiered. It occurred this Friday morning (Oct. 3) courtesy of an audio video uploaded on VEVO. The Travie McCoy-assisted up-beat track is the lead single from Mr. Murs' upcoming fourth album "Never Been Better", which is due in stores in the UK on November 24th via Sony Music.

One of the first reviews of "Wrapped Up" stated that: "It has a funky disco riff, dance floor beat and an infectious chorus. It’s destined to be the get-up-and-dance anthem at this year’s Christmas parties". Is this true? Find out below!!

"Wrapped Up" - DL Review

Dear Olly Murs, Hawaii-born superstar Bruno Mars already did this in "Unorthodox Jukebox". Why swagger jacking him?

For "era #4", Olly Murs is bringing a funky-disco sound that is sounding so lame to me because Bruno already did this 2 years ago. And I'm not saying Bruno is the only singer in the world who's allowed to do funky-disco music but it's just that Olly's new song "Wrapped Up" sounds like something he recorded after hearing "Unorthodox Jukebox" over and over again. I'm upset because I'm an Olly fan but this style is just a no-no to me. Moreover, Olly's "Treasure"-esque new single ain't that hot. It's very dull and if it wasn't for Travie's refreshing verse, I would strongly consider not giving "Wrapped Up" another play.

Hit or Miss?
