New Music: Nicki Minaj - 'Anaconda' [Full/CDQ]
We heard a low quality version of Nicki Minaj's anticipated single 'Anaconda' in the morning and now the Young Money female emcee decides to pull the trigger on the release of the full audio to the final high quality version. The track, which is produced by Polow Da Don and Da Internz, serves as the second single from her upcoming album 'The Pinkprint'.
"He telling me it's real, that he love my sex appeal / Say he don't like em boney, he want something he can grab" raps Nicki over the upbeat instrumental, which samples Sir Mix A Lot famous hit song 'Baby Gotta Back'. 'Anaconda' wasn't supposed to be out till Monday (Aug 4th) but clearly the leak has forced Nicki's hand to release the CDQ version. The track initially meant to drop on July 28th but suffered a delay for unknown reasons (possible Beyonce collab incoming?).
No release date for 'The Pinkprint' just yet but Nicki has guaranteed in several interviews that it'll be dropping this year. 'Anaconda' can be bought on iTunes come Monday. Expect the hyped track to be accompanied by a music video soon and listen below. Let us know what you think.
