Lupe Fiasco returns today with the first official single from his upcoming fifth studio album 'Testuo & Youth'. The track is titled 'Mission' and features production by Soundz & DukeDaMonsta.
For the past few weeks leading up to 'Mission', Lupe has been visiting Cancer organizations and playing them the single as well as meeting with staff and patients . The beginning of the track starts off with people detailing their fight against cancer, starting with veteran singer-songwriter Charlie Wilson himself. Not exactly a track you would typically hear on the radio but the message Lupe delivers is powerful and will surely resonate with people who are dealing with cancer or have family/friends that are.
