leaked copy of Lana del Rey's 'Ultraviolence' album that hit the Web on
Wednesday night, and that was the exclusive iTunes bonus track ‘Is This Happiness’ (that you get by buying the deluxe edition on Apple’s digital music platform!). ‘Is This Happiness’ was co-written by Lana and Grammy-winning
singer-songwriter-record producer Rick Nowels. Listen below!
Yes, we have it! ‘Is This Happiness’ is a moody
ballad that opens with a sad piano solo before Lana begins to sing with a
reverb-heavy effect. The song then evolves into a typical beautiful Lana slow
jam. The chorus of the song is quite short with Lana repeating ‘Is This
Happiness!’ four times in long notes.
‘Ultraviolence’ is released in the U.S on June 17th via Interscope Records.
