So it was true. There was a remix of Katy Perry's new single "Dark Horse" featuring Pitbull (replacing Juicy J's verse). Producer Dr. Luke hinted this remix in a tweet posted earlier this month, but it wasn't until today (Jan. 27) that the existence of the "Dark Horse (Mr. Worldwide Remix)" was confirmed. It's leaked online in full. Listen below!

This is no fanmade song. Pitbull's verse is fresh new, and recorded specifically for Katy Perry's "Dark Horse". The Miami rapper mentions Katy in his lyrics.

The Pitbull verse ain't bad (nice delivery) but I've learned to love the original edit of "Dark Horse" with Juicy J so much that I can't help to get a weird feel when I hear Pitbull rapping in here. I know he's probably feeling envious because it's Juicy J taking all the "rapper" glory in a hit pop song like Katy Perry's "Dark Horse" is, and not him (when he's usually the go-to rapper as far as "mainstream songs" go), but he has to understand he can't be everywhere. "Dark Horse" feels good with Juicy J, not him.

Hit or Miss?
