Michelle launched on Sunday midnight (Nov. 2) the pre-order for her upcoming album “AWBAH” (stands for: “Anybody Wanna Buy A Heart”) and with it a brand new track came along; “Maybe I Should Call”. This super cute R&B mid-tempo is the confirmed next single from K. Michelle and I am super pleased with the choice!
Such a drastic change from the urban-esque “I Love ‘Em All”, huh? In the first single, Kay-Kay sang about her being a slut who wanted to sex up all the men she’d encounter, but now in the second single “Maybe I Should Call”, K. Michelle shows a more vulnerable side and this time she is the victim of a man. K. Michelle is the “side chick”, the woman with whom this man is cheating on her wife. K. Michelle had hopes he would leave her to be with her – because she has developed real feelings for him – but when she finds out the wife has become pregnant, she know she’s lost the man forever. That’s when she starts singing “Maybe I Should Call”.
