New Music: Iggy Azalea (feat. Charli XCX) - "Fancy" [Full Audio + Review]
Australian raptress Iggy Azalea called in tonight (Feb. 6) on Mista Jam's BBC Radio 1xtra show to exclusively world premiere there her brand new single "Fancy", featuring Charli XCX. After "Change Your Life", "Fancy" is the newest single to be lifted from Iggy's much-anticipated (and much-delayed too) full-length debut album "The New Classic", which is set to be released (at last) on April 14th via Def Jam/Mercury.
Iggy raps about her booming career, while Charli XCX adds some more catchiness, over the Invisible Men-produced mysterious beat. "Fancy" leaked late last year in demo form and under the name of "Leave It". I like it in his "leaked" form, and I am loving "Fancy" in his final and mastered version. Iggy shut it down with her powerful delivery, and Charli XCX, well, she can't do no wrong. Nice to see the pop lady appear on a hip-hop track.
