New Music: Fifth Harmony - "Worth It" [Full Audio / Review]

fifth harmony worth it

The sassy girls of Fifth Harmony know they are ‘worth it’ and they brag about it in the newly-premiered song from their forthcoming debut album "Reflection" (Feb. 3).

Released today (Jan. 20) as the latest “iTunes countdown single”, "Worth It” is a collaboration with rapper Kid Ink and it’s filled with infectious saxophone/trumpet sounds. Wonder if Ricky Reed is the producer of the song? Ricky is the one responsible for the saxophone revival in mainstream songs after producing Jason Derulo’s smash hit “Talk Dirty”. If it's not Ricky Reed, he definitely must sue, lol.

Since last week Fifth Harmony has been bugging Twitter followers with multiple posts including the hash tag #Unlock5HWorthIt asking them to share the pre-order link of their debut album on their Twitter accounts and in exchange once the link had been sufficiently shared they would release the full audio of the "Reflection" track "Worth It" and make it available for individual purchase on iTunes. Today, we received our prize.

"Worth It” song review

Don’t really see it as official single, but “Worth It” is definitely a nice album track. It’s urban-pop, it boasts catchy saxophone sounds, and the 5H ladies show off a lot of swagger. “Show me what u got cuz I don't wanna waste my time”, sing the ‘Epic’ stars in the pre-chorus of their newly-released “Reflection” cut.

“Worth It” is all about female empowering and women don’t wanting to waste their time watching a parade of loser men. They are looking for winners only. Are you?
