New Music: Fifth Harmony - "Them Girls Be Like" [Premiere / Review]

fifth harmony reflection album

MTV.com just premiered a brand new Fifth Harmony track today (August 23rd), a day before the girl group's pre-VMAs performance at The Forum in Inglewood, California. The pop-urban mid-tempo is "Them Girls Be Like", one of the songs from Fifth Harmony's forthcoming debut album "Reflection" - arriving in stores on November 17th via Epic. (The photo above the is the NEW cover art for the album - preferred the other one!).

"Them Girls Be Like" song review

Not liking this at all. Sounds like a too-long interlude. It's a song that just doesn't go anywhere. It's so forgettable. "Them Girls Be Like" may have a self-empowerment message as its DNA but the song is so boring I think all girls out there will have stopped playing it before they get Fifth Harmony's self-empowerment energy.

If you're one of the many that simply doesn't have the time or willing to play 5H's new disappointing song "Them Girls Be Like", then here's an excerpt of the lyrics that you're missing out. "We like them girls that do too much / If you thirsty you can’t sit with us / Why you think them boys be missin’ us", the independent ladies Fifth Harmony in their pop urban tune. And that's another thing. It's obvious Fifth Harmony have embraced urban music as their new BFF, but hopefully they are keeping that urban sound for just a few tracks on "Reflection". They are going to need a few pop hits too!

Hit or Miss?
