Avicii’s EDM-folk route for his next album release, you were (sort of) dead
wrong! The French DJ is gearing up to drop the follow-up to his 2011 'Nothing
but the Beat' LP later this year and the first single from it is said to be the
Sam Martin-assisted 'Lovers on the Sun'. Listen below!
‘Lovers on the Sun’ is a euphoric house anthem
with newcomer Sam Martin providing the vocals and Guetta providing the beat. It's
true that when you first start hearing the song you think to yourself; 'oh, is
this going to be like an Avicii record?', but as the song moves on you realize
that Guetta opted to differentiate himself a tad. ‘Lovers on the Sun’ is not
exactly folk, but it's definitely got a crossover appeal.
