New Music: Big Sean (feat. Drake & Kanye West) - ‘Blessings’
Big Sean season is fully underway. After announcing a new album 'Dark Sky Paradise' dropping next month, the G.O.O.D. Music leaks a fresh single titled 'Blessings' featuring OVO artist Drake. The track follows up his platinum single 'IDFWU' and was uploaded to Sean's Youtube channel on Thursday night without much notice.
'Blessings' is not the first time Big Sean and Drake have crossed paths. They previously linked up in the Summer of 2013 for 'All Me'. This new collab between the two is produced by Vinylz and Boi-1da. Sean and Drake exchange verses and Drake also administers the hook.
"My Grandma just died, I'm the man of the house. So every morning I'm up cause I can't let em down / Always down for the cause, never down for the count" raps Sean, briefly touching on the recent loss of his Grandma.
'Dark Sky Paradise' is slated for a February 24th release. Look for 'Blessings' to hit iTunes shortly and stream the new single below.
