New Music: Austin Mahone - “Do It Right” [Premiere / Free Download!]
Becky G’x ex boyfriend Austin Mahone releases a new song titled “Do It Right” featuring his dear friend Robert Villanueva who now goes by the pseudonym of Rob Villa (nice…).
I thought this new song would be the next official single from Austin’s long-delayed debut album but turns out it is not, as “Do It Right” has been released through SoundCloud and Austin’s PERSONAL YouTube page (no VEVO) and furthermore is it available for free download, which totally confirms that the follow-up single to “Dirty Work” remains a mystery.
I truly don’t know what’s going on between Austin’s label and him, but I think the time has come for them to sit together and make a final decision on whether or not the Texas-born singer will have his debut album released. Cash Money/Republic may think they are only ‘playing’ with Austin’s feelings, but they are playing with his fans’ too.
About “Do It Right”, it’s an R&B/pop mid-tempo that lasts almost 4 minutes and in which Austin sings the verses and choruses (am I losing it or does Austin’s voice sound different? Oh my! He’s growing up!) and Rob Vill raps in the bridge.
The song is about Austin and his pal trying to convince a lady that they are her Mr. Rights so they say she better “do it right” when the time for the “picking” homes.
