New Music: Aubrey O'Day - 'Wrecking Ball'

One year after releasing her last solo song ('Automatic' in April 2011), former Danity Kane star Aubrey O'Day finally satisfies the needs of her fans by releasing a brand new 'buzz' single entitled "Wrecking Ball', which hit iTunes worldwide on Monday. Go get it! Produced by David Hodge (Kelly Clarkson's 'Because of You'), and penned by 'Idol' alumn Pia Toscano, "Wrecking Ball" is a well-sung pop ballad which sounds like a mix of Pia Toscano's own song 'This Time' with JoJo's 'Disaster' single. It ain't bad, it ain't groundbreaking either. Aubrey's power vocals definitely give "Wrecking Ball" an extra 'oomph' in my rating. BTW, Aubrey is supposedly still signed to SRC/Universal Motown, but by the iTunes info description I see Aubrey is releasing "Wrecking Ball" independently?. Anyhow, enjoy!
