My Chemical Romance Release Their Last Song Ever, "Fake Your Death": Listen Now!

my chemical romance fake your death cover artwork

This is the end of the road for My Chemical Romance. It's been fourteen years of an awesome career. The Gerard Way-led rock band will wave goodbye to all their fans next March 25th when their last album, a greatest hits compilation entitled "May Death Never Stop You". The set will include all of MCR's biggest hits, its music videos, as well as an original song. It's a previously unreleased track, actually, called "Fake Your Death". Hearing the song now, it feels like the perfect song for their farewell. Although, is there any level of irony in the song? In the sense, are My Chemical Romance "faking their death" as a band? Is a reunion one day in the future possible?

The complete audio "Fake Your Death" was first debuted on a trailer video to promote "May Death Never Stop You" last night (Feb. 17) on YouTube. At midnight, the last MCR single hit iTunes. It's not their best song ever, but it's really good. I mean, hearing it and knowing this is last original MCR recod you will heard possibly ever will bring a lot of nostalgia feelings and you will end up loving "Fake Your Death" even if it's not the band's best tune ever. Hopefully MCR filmed a music video for this song before they completely disbanded. If not, goodbye guys! Have a great life. Gerard Way, when is your solo album out? (lol). To hell with MCR, but we can't lose YOU!
