Mumford & Sons Perform "Believe" and "The Wolf" on 'SNL': Watch
British folk rock band Mumford and Sons was the musical entertainment on the 18th episode of season 40 of “Saturday Night Live” on NBC on April 11. Hosted by actress Taraji P. Henson, the Marcus Mumford-led band took this major gig to promote their upcoming third studio album “Wilder Mind” in early May all around the world. Specifically, M&S used this SNL on-screen time to perform the lead single “Believe” and the recently unveiled second single “The Wolf”, whose audio only premiered this week and many expected to be just another ‘buzz’ single – not it was ‘hated’, it’s just that it looked so soon for a follow-up single.
How did Mumford and Sons fare on SNL? They rocked it. I’m actually 100 times more excited about “Wilder Mind” now, after watching these two performances, than I was before. So awesome to witness that both tracks translate so well live.
