Miley Cyrus Performs On 'Saturday Night Live'
Miley Cyrus made her SNL performance debut on the second episode of Season 39, on October 6th live from the NBC studios in New York City, where she was host too. The 20-year-old pop singer also hosted an episode of "Saturday Night Live" back in 2011.
Opening monologue, and sketches apart, Miley fans wanted to see her perform, and that's why many of them remained awake till late on Saturday night. The untameable star hit the SNL stage twice, first to perform her latest single, the Dr. Luke power ballad "Wrecking Ball", and later to do an acoustic rendition of her party anthem "We Can't Stop". Bet you thought she was going to do another ratchet peformance, or bring out the foam finger again! Ha!. Miley truly surprised with this stripped-back, vocally impressive showing.
