Meghan Trainor Gives Debut TV Performance of "All About That Bass" on "Kelly & Michael"
Meghan Trainor performed her #1 iTunes single "All About That Bass" for the first time on US television on ABC's "Live! with Kelly and Michael" on Thursday morning, August 7th. The Kevin Kadish-produced pop-soul song is the first single from the 20-year-old Massachusetts singer’s forthcoming major label debut album, due in stores later this year via Epic Records. In only a matter of a month, Meghan’s irresistible song (an anthem for girls with just a bit of extra weight) has turned into a monster hit. It’s on a quick rise on radio, Billboard Hot 100 (Top 10!) and this week, "All About That Bass" reached #1 on iTunes USA beating Nicki Minaj and Jessie J!
Meghan slayed a bit! Good LIVE vocals and cute choreography with them girls in the back. This debut TV performance of "All About That Bass" on "Live! with Kelly and Michael" was very much anticipated by everyone who’s currently hooked on the song, and Meghan certainly delivered and didn’t succumb to the nerves. After singing "All About That Bass", Trainor was briefly interviewed by Michael Strahan and Kelly Ripa’s replacement for the day. Megha’s got a terrific personality!
