Meghan Trainor Covers 5SOS' "Don't Stop" On BBC "Live Lounge", Uses Ukulele: Watch!

Meghan Trainor is back in the UK (doing promo only, she ain’t moving).

The talented 21-year-old from Nantucket, Massachusetts performed an acoustic two-song set for BBC Radio 1's "Live Lounge" series at midday today (Jan. 20).

This isn’t the first time Meghan is in London as post’s introduction indicates. She first set foot on British land late last year during the promotion cycle of "All About That Bass" and she scored a gig on the grand finale of Season 11 of “The X Factor UK”.

Today, Meghan Trainor stopped by the Fearne Cotton-hosted radio show "Live Lounge" where guest artists are obliged to do two songs, both in acoustic mode. One song being the new single they’re promoting and the other a cover of their choice.

Meghan evidently performed "Lips Are Moving" as her first song as this is the new single she's promoting (in fact this JUST got 'officially' released in the UK - so late I know), and for her cover performance, Meghan surprised us. Did she pick a classic? Ellie Goulding or Taylor Swift maybe? Hell nah. She chose to do 5 Seconds of Summer’s “Don’t Stop”. Say what!? I know. Totally random! But she killed it anyway. I say this acoustic Meghan-ized version is better than the original and who thought “Don’t Stop” would sound so well with an accompanying ukulele.
