Maroon 5 "Misery" Promotion Day!

Maroon 5 released yesterday, September 21st, their latest studio album entitled "Hands All Over" in the USA. This meant a busy day for them on Tuesday. Besides the radio interviews, the American band appeared on two big US television shows. To kick things off, Adam and Co. stopped by very early on Tuesday (I believe it was 8 in the morning o something like that) on NBC's The Today Show. After a short interview with show hosts Matt Lauer and Meredith Vieira, the group performed their Top 20 hit "Misery". Wow, I truly admire people who wake up in a good mood in the mornings lol. I'd be all grumpy if I'd be waken up that early! Maroon 5 gave a good performance.

At night time that same day, the band hit the stage at The Late Show with David Letterman at CBS' NYC studios. Again, the guys performed "Misery" to the detriment of the new single "Give A Little More". If the would have appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! they would have gotten the chance to do two songs but if they had to choose one for both The Today Show and Letterman, "Misery" would had been my pick too. I mean, that song is still within the Top 20 on Billboard's Hot 100 and GALM hasn't gained that much buzz yet. So if they really wanted to promote their new record, "Misery" was the one go for. At this Letterman performance, Adam looked more relax and in good spirits, he was even moving all around the stage. I wish Maroon 5 the best of luck with their new CD. Will they get the #1? I wouldn't dare to say YES as they have fierce competition with John Legend, Selena Gomez and Shontelle releasing albums this week too.
