Sawyer Fredericks was crowned winner of Season 8 of “The Voice” last night (May 19) during the grand finale episode but we don’t really care about that, do we? We care about the guest performers that took the NBC talent show’s stage on Tuesday. They were: Maroon 5, Ed Sheeran, Kelly Clarkson, Meghan Trainor and Luke Bryan.

Adam Levine delivered alongside his Maroon 5 buddies the first televised performance of their brand new single “This Summer’s Gonna Hurt” and it looked pretty good. Only thing I’d tweak is the “mothernana” part. I know that the chorus has to be censored for obvious reasons but I wish they had changed that line with a new word or something so it didn’t sound so akward.

Kelly Clarkson performed the new single from “Piece by Piece”, the ballad “Invincible” – loving the chorus of this, Ed Sheeran did this new “X” single, “Photograph”, Meghan Trainor performed her still official single “Dear Future Husband”, and country star Luke Bryan debuted his new single, from his forthcoming album “Kill the Lights”, the anthemic “Kick the Dust Up”.

So which was my favorite performance of all? I think I have to go with Kelly Clarkson’s. Mama may have got big but her vocals are still as amazing as ever.

Who had the best performance?
