The song is not found on Machine Gun Kelly’s third studio album “Bloom” that he dropped in May this year. So it could be that A) “The Break Up” is a one-off single for the winter to exploit the popularity that his song “Home” from the “Bright” soundtrack is giving him or that B) he plans to drop an EP, new album in early 2018. But wouldn’t that be too soon?
“The Break Up” is an angry rap song that Machine Gun Kelly wrote when he had just gone through his first major breakup. This song is aimed towards his ex girlfriend, who in Machine Gun Kelly’s words “is just a bitch”.
