Lupe Fiasco Performs On 'Letterman'
Chicago rapper Lupe Fiasco performed his single "The Show Goes On" last night on the 'The Late Show with David Letterman' via CBS - That's correct, the 29-year-old MC is STILL promoting the lead US single of his third studio album "Lasers" - This is turning into a 'Pretty Girl Rock' situation, lol. Nevertheless, after six months of hard work, Lupe has turned the late bloomer "The Show Goes On" into a Top 20 hit on the Billboard Hot 100. Last week it climbed one position from #16 to #15, its highest peak thus far. So it's all good! You can keep promoting' it Lupe for a while but please don't take too long to officially release the Skylar Grey-assisted "Words I Never Said" next. I simply looooove that song, and I can't wait to see TV performances by Lupe supported by the angelic live vocals of Skylar.
