Lorde Performs "Royals" on "Ellen", The Weeknd Seduces with "Pretty" on "Letterman"
New Zealand's Lorde celebrated the #3 debut of her album "Pure Heroine" on the US's Billboard Top 200 with a live performance of her smash hit "Royals" on "The Ellen Show" on Wednesday (October 9th). Still not losing her quirky on-stage moves and face expressions, the 16-year-old delivered a flawless rendition of her breezy tune. "Pure Heroine" sold 127, 226 copies in its first week, only behind Drake's and Justin Timberlake's new albums. By the way, "2 of 2" only sold one-third of Part 1.
On Wednesday night, Canadian crooner The Weeknd seized the "Letterman" stage to perform his latest single, "Pretty". The seductive track can be found on Drake's buddy's debut album "Kiss Land", released last month via Republic Records. I like "Pretty", but I think it's time The Weeknd moves on to a new single.
