Lorde & Her Long Nails Slay "Yellow Flicker Beat" on "Alan Carr: Chatty Man" (Must-Watch!)

lorde chatty man

We’ve seen concert performances, and most recently an acoustic performance on BBC Radio 1’s “Live Lounge”, but we had yet to see the first television performance of “Yellow Flicker Beat”. The intense Paul Epworth-produced electro-pop song is the lead single from the “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1” soundtrack performed by Lorde. The New Zealand star is also the curator of this soundtrack – major gig for her!

Lorde delivered the very first televised performance of the amazing “Yellow Flicker Beat” on Channel 4’s “Alan Carr: Chatty Man” (UK) on Friday, November 14th, 2014. Watch video below!!!

Those long nails, those “powerful” body movements, the hair tossing in the chorus, the intense gaze in the verses…Lorde just slayed that stage!!! “Yellow Flicker Beat” is such a phenomenal record and it sounds and translates SO WEL live. Every time Lorde performs this track I become more obsessed with it.
