Little Mix & Jason Derulo - "Secret Love Song" [Music Video Premiere!]
After a few days of delay, here finally is Little Mix’s much-anticipated music video for their new single “Secret Love Song”, featuring the one and only, Miami-singer Jason Derulo. The heartfelt ballad is taken from the British girl group’s third album “Get Weird” – released in the winter of 2015.
Directed by Fran Borin, the “Secret Love Song” music video – premiered today (Feb. 3) on VEVO – shows the Little Mix girls - Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jesy Nelson – feeling really stylish in their Topshop winter clothes walking the London streets nearby the Thames river at night time while Jason Derulo serves dramatic dance moves and dramatic faces in his almost-empty flat with views to the famous London river. That’s it.
I sincerely was expecting something better and more high-budget, considering all the delays, or at least a better and more grandiose ending. All girls should’ve united for the last scene or something. I’m upset. I’m still a fan of “Secret Love Song”, though - and I’m happy it’s having a relatively good performance on the UK radios and charts. But yeah – the song deserved a better music video. This feels like it took 100$ to shoot. Just walking around London? Come on, girls! You can do better. The best thing that I can say about this video is that they all looked very pretty.
