New Shakira song! I repeat, new music from Shakira!
The Colombian queen has lent French rapper Black M her voice for him to ‘use’ for his new single titled “Comme Moi” (“Like me” in English) which world premiered on French radio tonight (Oct. 25).
Black M is a very popular rapper in France whose 2014 debut album “Les yeux plus gros que le monde” was certified platinum three times. Now two years later, the MC is gearing up to release a follow-up and “Comme Moi” is an official single from that upcoming project.
Undoubtedly I would like to know the story of how this unexpected and surprising collaboration was conceived. I have the feeling Shakira didn’t know who Black M was until she received his proposition. No doubt Shakira liked the melody of the song and decided to gift Black M with an international hit. She’s so kind!
