Can “My Everything” be here already, please? A new song from Ariana Grande’s upcoming second album has been previewed, and it is totally amazing and life-slaying. The song is “Be My Baby”, and it was previewed at a party hosted by Cashmere Cat, one of the producers of the song. If you don’t know who Cashmere Cat is, he’s a record producer and DJ hailing all the way from Norway. (“Be My Baby” is track no. 7 on "My Everything"). This 'party’, held at the ‘MoMA PS1: Warm Up’ 2014 event in New York City, actually occurred over the weekend and videos and audios of the “Be My Baby” snippet have been circulating over the Internet EVER SINCE, but it was only last night when Ariana Grande fans discovered it! Say what!? Cashmere Cat was the DJ at this event, and he randomly decided to give party-goers a world exclusive. He played them a whole 1 minute of the track he had produced for Ms. Grande’s new album.
“Be My Baby” sounds so good! I can't get the 'be my, be my, baby, baby' hook out of my head! The melodic R&B-pop tune boasts also great quantities of Ariana's vulnerable vocals and whistle notes. Dying to get the full version ASAP! Ariana better release “Be My Baby” as an iTunes countdown single now ‘cause I don’t think I’ll be able to wait till August 25th (release date of “My Everything”) to hear it in full.
