Linkin Park - "Final Masquerade" [Music Video]
MTV got the exclusive to world premiere the new Linkin Park music video for "Final Masquerade". The alternative rock song is the third single from the Chester Bennington-led band’s latest album “The Hunting Party" which debuted at #2 on the Billboard Top 200 only below Lana del Rey's "Ultraviolence" LP last June. "Final Masquerade" was produced by Brad Delson, Mike Shinoda and Emile Haynie, and written by the entire band of Linkin Park. MTV described the song as “a sharp, edgy, lushly harmonic heavy-hitter that falls perfectly in line with Linkin Park’s lengthy string of hulking, hooky hits”.

Directed by Mark Pellington and produced by Taylor Vandergrift via Wondros, the music video for "Final Masquerade" in the outskirts of Los Angeles. Although we see in the video Linkin Park and Chester Bennington doing their ‘rock performance’ thing, the majority of the "Final Masquerade" music video shows a bunch of people – actors specifically casted for – portraying “beauty exploration and how fake the effects of society are on them”. Confused? That’s what the press release for the video stated! Overall, I guess the video is okay, but definitely not something I'd like to watch again.
