Liam Payne To Use His Body To "Sell" First Solo Single...

liam payne shirtless
liam payne shirtless body

Zayn didn’t, Harry didn’t, Niall didn’t, and Louis didn’t, but Liam is going do it.

Liam is going to use his body to sell his debut solo single.

The One Direction star shared a teaser of the music video of his debut solo single (which is rumored to be coming out this Friday, May 12, on iTunes) on social media last night and this teaser saw Liam flexing shirtless, showing off his muscled, very toned body, and six pack, as he “felt” the urban-esque beat of his yet-untitled song (which by the way sounds a tad “corny” from this few seconds we can hear of it. Those “yeah, yeah, yeah” at the end were like WTF. And that “Boss Ass Bitch”-esque beat? I hope am wrong and the song turns out to be great… especially when Ed Sheeran supposedly co-wrote it!).

Maybe Liam is worried he won’t do as well as Zayn, Harry and Niall? (Louis hasn’t succeeded solo yet). Is that the reason why he will rely more on his looks/body to sell his first solo single? Does he think THAT will give him an extra edge and get him closer to “major worldwide success” and to not look “bad” against his other 1D buddies? Well, no doubt his shirtlessness will help bring more views to his music video (rumored to premiere the same day the single gets released) but if the song turns out to be not good, then no muscled body will be able to help to make a flop a hit.

Please Liam first solo single, be good and not corny!

FYI: I'm referring to first solo singles here. Zayn did have some shirtless photoshoots but he didn't have full frontal shirtless scenes in the "PILLOWTALK" music videos. And besides his music video, I'm sensing the artwork of Liam's first solo single may also featured him shirtless full frontal. But we'll see that!

*UPDATE*: Liam's single is officially slated for premiere on MAY 19 (not May 12 after all). And it is called... "STRIP THAT DOWN".
